Service Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholders Mobilisation & Outreach
• Plan and execute daily and weekly marketing activities aligned with the Centre's monthly marketing plan.
• Mobilise stakeholders including women, adolescents, and men to access Centre services such as Family Planning, ANC, Ultrasound, Screening, and Maternity Care.
• Establish and maintain relationships with corporate organisations, pharmacists, medical personnel, community leaders, religious groups, women's associations, schools, and local organisations to facilitate referrals.
• Represent MSSL at community events, health fairs, market activations, and awareness campaigns.
• Distribute IEC materials (flyers, brochures, calendars) in assigned catchment areas.
2. Referral Generation & Client Follow-Up
• Recruit, register, and manage a network of referral partners, and health ambassadors.
• Track referrals made to the Centre and confirm client conversion rates in coordination with the reception team.
• Conduct follow-up calls for clients who were referred but did not attend, or for those requiring repeat services.
• Maintain an up-to-date referral log documenting agent activity, client status, and conversion outcomes
3. Centre-Level Promotional Activation
• Support the Service Marketing Manager in implementing the Centre's monthly marketing plan at the community and in-clinic levels.
• Coordinate and execute Centre-based promotional events such as open days, health talks, and free screening campaigns.
• Ensure in-clinic visibility materials, posters, banners, price boards, service flyers are current, properly displayed, and replaced when outdated.
• Gather client testimonials, success stories, and event photos for use in digital content, reporting to the Service Marketing Manager and Digital Marketer
4. Corporate & Institutional Outreach Support
• Support the Service Marketing Manager in mapping and reaching out corporate organisations, employers, schools, in the catchment area.
• Distribute corporate service packages, flyers, and pricing information to targeted businesses and institutions.
• Represent MSSL during on-site corporate wellness events as directed by the Service Marketing Manager.
• Report all institutional leads and contacts to the Service Marketing Manager for follow-up and conversion tracking
5. Client Experience & In-Clinic Observation
• Conduct informal client pulse checks in waiting areas to assess satisfaction, comfort, and experience quality.
• Observe and report on client flow, wait times, signage adequacy, and staff-client interactions to the Service Marketing Manager.
• Escalate any client complaints or experience gaps identified during in-clinic observation using the appropriate channels.
6. Reporting & Data Collection
• Submit daily and weekly field activity reports to the Service Marketing Manager covering outreach activities, referrals, leads, and community engagements.
• Maintain accurate records of community contacts, referral agents, and outreach visits in the prescribed tracking tools.
• Support the monthly data compilation for the Centre's marketing performance dashboard.
• Flag data quality issues, community intelligence, or competitor activity observations promptly.
Qualifications & Experience (essential/desirable)
- Essential:
- Diploma, or BSc in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field marketing, health promotion, or client engagement.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with communities in an outreach, advocacy, or health promotion capacity.
- Fluency in English and at least one local language (Krio strongly preferred).
- Desirable:
- Experience working within an INGO, NGO, private health facility, or community-based organisation.
- Familiarity with reproductive, maternal, or sexual health programming.
- Prior experience managing referral agent networks.
