IPC Assistant

Responsibilities
- Centre Cleaning and Hygiene Monitoring
- Waste Management and Disposal
- Sterilization and Decontamination Support
- Incident Reporting and Response
- Documentation and Record Keeping
- Support to Audits, Supervision and Compliance
Must Have
- Formal training in infection prevention and control, environmental hygiene, or healthcare waste management.
- At least 1–3 years’ experience working in a healthcare, laboratory, or clinical environment is desirable.
- Experience in NGO or private healthcare settings is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and procedural compliance.
- Good understanding of infection risks and prevention practices
- Ability to observe, report, and follow procedures consistently
- Ability to read and write.
- Professional conduct, reliability, and integrity.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clinical environments.
- The role is Centre-based with continuous movement across clinical and non-clinical areas
- The role involves exposure to healthcare environments and biological materials, requiring strict adherence to IPC protocols.
- The role may require extended hours during high-volume service periods or IPC incidents.
